Some of the advice actually came from my hairdresser, although this tip may not work for everyone
1. Squeeze calamansi or lemon in a bowl, strain and store the juice in a sealed glass container/pitcher. The juice concentrate would last around a week. Pour 1/4 cup (or more) in a mug/dipper (you can mix a bit of water) and pour them on your head. Make sure the juice covers your scalp. Massage a bit. Rinse. You can shampoo and condition your hair afterwards.
2. Wash your hair daily, especially when you sweat a lot. You do not need to use organic or tar or sulfur or dandruff shampoo.
3. DRY your hair. You can use hair blower (hot or cold) or an electric fan.
* I tried using Bragg’s apple cider vinegar straight on my hair. The result: The smell won’t come off even after a week of shampooing and it smelled so bad, no one wants to be near me at all
Afterwards, I tried making it as a final hair rinse (a dash of ACV and lots of water) but my hair still stinks so I gave up
